Youth and other Badassery. by Kadinskies Youth and other Badassery. by Kadinskies
This is Loki, my Eclectus parrot. He's about 8 months old now, but this image was taken at 6 months. He's my baby.

So cute! :iconawwwplz: Great shot, was he trying to bite the camera? My boy does that when I try to "shoot" him. When do eclectus parrots reach maturity?

Hehe ^^ Thank you. Nah, he was practicing talking and I was tapping the lens to get his attention :3 He'll be fully matured at 4 years, I believe :3 It's so inspirational watching him grow up, I've had him since 14 weeks and weaned him and such.

That's so cute :) What can he say? My tiel barely talks after a year and a half of owning him and he sucks :P Well eclectuses are way more intelligent.
My friend and I are going to breed our cockatiels, I can't wait for the babies :iconawwwplz:

Well, he's starting to say "Mama", "Hello", "Step up", "CHEEEEEEESE!!!", "Kiss Kiss" and sometimes he yells "MUUUUUUUM!!". Basically, things he gets told all the time, cheese or what he hears around the house. He meows but nobody in our area has a cat, it's odd.

Awwh, my boss has a tiel. Me and a friend used to have green cheeks, they were going to breed then both died. Your tiel is beauiful :)

:iconblockatielplz: :iconsaysplz: THANK YOU!

That's so sad :( How did they die? Did they escape, or were they killed by something?

A friend of my friend has an African grey :)It's name is Ricky and for unknown reason he plucks his feathers and is unable to fly. He seems happy, maybe he was previously owned by someone else and it became a habit? But my point is, he says things he most likely never heard before. He imitates elephants sometimes, and he loves imitating loud stuff, like telephones and his owner's mother shouting stuff like "GO TIDY OUR ROOM" :D And when he sees a cat he yells "Boby, boby, cat! Cat!" Boby is the name of their dog lol He's such a cutie

They all got a diesease, can't remember how to spell it. It's similar to bird flu and the buggers gave it to me too. Wasn't any fun :3

:O I want a grey, they're so clever but nearly $5000 here.

How much do cockatiels cost where you live? They cost 30-40$ here

Man, birds are pricy ay?

Loki was $500, but they usually sell for $1250ish.

Tiels are $50-100, sometimes but rarely less. They have such beautiful characters.
